Everyone loves free stuff \u2013 complimentary chocolates, afternoon tea or a welcome drink, perhaps? Or a % off when guests book direct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Partner with companies in your local area<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Agree exclusive discounts for local attractions or with other local businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give something back<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Organise a coffee morning to raise funds for the Family Holiday Association to help give struggling families a break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Arrange a tutored tasting of local food, wines or beers to give guests a taste of what your area has to offer \u2013 or provide a goody bag of local treats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Offer free tickets to a nearby attraction. A country house, vineyard, animal sanctuary, or a lake or river cruise perhaps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Encourage your guests to get out and explore with an overland safari, guided tour tickets or free cycle hire.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Teach a new skill with a free demonstration or workshop. Baking, painting, pottery, surfing \u2013 whatever you\u2019re best at!<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  • Think of a theme and offer a discount to guests who turn up in fancy dress.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  • Pay for a massage or beauty therapist to come to your property and pamper your guests for free.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Provide a free bottle of champagne or sparkling wine in the room.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Let guests bring their dogs for free, and offer their faithful companion a special doggy-friendly breakfast.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Run a competition to win a free stay or give guests a promo code to get a discount off their next stay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
